Back in Japan!

I came back to Japan yesterday!

This time there were no problems with the flight and my bags arrived safely as well so I am relieved! I'll be here for about 2 weeks. I'll be focusing on getting really psychologically pumped up for the opening race of the season. Speak again to you soon!

No accidents!

I completed the Spain tests without incident or accidents and now have returned to Italy.

I am really happy with my performance in the tests.

At the moment I am moving house in Italy.

I am trying to get rid of some stuff but I have a lot of things in my house. It made me realize just how long I have been racing over here in Europe! I even found a videotape, no not a DVD, with Japanese television programs from 1998.

That makes it my eleventh year racing over here.

So again thanks to everyone who has supported me over all these years!

We made it !

I arrived safely in Spain and got straight into the morning tests!

However I was stranded at the airport for eight hours and my both the transfer flight and my bags didn't appear for a long time so I am exhausted! Today the wind is really strong which has made the testing a bit nerve racking. I'll be doing my best to keep focused so I can complete the tests injury free!!

Snowed under in Milano !

I have to head back to Spain now but as you can see here Milano is covered in snow and transport routes are gridlocked.

Airlines are fortunately still permitted to fly – but will we get there safely?

Ouch – Painful Hand Blisters! (>_<。)

After 5 consecutive days of bike testing I got these blood blisters!〓(-_-#)

They are so painful!

I'll definitely be taping up my hands for the next round of testing in Spain next week. (LOL)

Going hard now will surely put me in good stead for the start of the season so I'll give it my best.

Testing in Portugal!

We've just finished the three-day combined tests at Portimao!

Almost all teams gathered to test their machines. With rain falling, many issues became clear and we learnt a lot from the testing.

I was able to place second in the rain. It felt really good to post a place in single figures. It's been a long time coming.

But there are still a lot of issues to work through in dry conditions.

Next week is the Calafat Circuit tests.

Until then I will return to Italy and take a break for a short while.

Top professional bass fisherman – Morizo Shimizu

I went to dinner with Shimizu just before leaving Japan!

We hadn't caught up for about two years!

Morizo is currently competing in the American bass fishing tournament and is one of the tournament's top stars. I think it's funny how two guys as rare as us catching up for dinner like this.

Morizo is so incredibly busy he hardly ever picks up the phone. (*_*)(Lol)

Then I received a call from him and I didn't pick up!

It's that I meant to not pick it up (-_☆)

I just missed it (*_*;

So days go by with both of us missing calls!

It's like a rule with us..

Rule? What rule? – you might ask.

After a few days either of us will finally make contact.

This time both Morizo and I met up at fashion designer "269 Elizabeth Street" where we both got given a jacket and shoes!

Testing at Almeria

We've just completed 2 days of testing at the Almeria Circuit in Spain.

I completed the tests in good racing form.

Next up is testing at Portimao in Portugal.

Almost all teams will be there with their new machines to test out their real capabilities. It's very exciting to see what will happen.

I'm confident that we will be able to show a much improved Kawasaki performance in comparison to last year.

Arrival in Italy !

The off season has almost come to an end.

It’s going to be a rough ride to kick off the start of the season with a schedule packed full with tests. We will start the tests in Almeria in Spain, move on to Portugal and then back to Spain to the Calafat Circuit.

The motor sports world has been hit particularly hard amidst the current global recession. So I've got to create some positive news in response!

I want to show everyone the enjoyment and thrill of racing.

Today we went fishing !

This evening we went to a fishing park called "Joy Valley"! My son caught a huge fish so I have taken a photo of it and posted it here for you to see.
I'm really happy and proud.
Just a silly, doting parent perhaps?
